Feel the Central Business District culture

Downtown Austin, known for its landmark architecture and a thriving entertainment scene, now hosts some of the city’s largest office towers. Borders for the CBD are Lamar Boulevard, Interstate 35, 15th Street and Lady Bird Lake. Within these two-square miles, locals and visitors can find outdoor activities, restaurants, luxury hotels, the Austin Convention Center and office space for major employers. While construction restrictions remain to preserve protected views of the Texas State Capitol, many blocks within the CBD are prime opportunities for real estate development. In the pipeline are 3,500 multi-family units along with 2 million square-feet of office construction. Meta, J.P. Morgan Chase and other major employers have office space in the CBD, with more large office projects to come.
